Friday Funnies

On our cross-country summer travels, we saw this unusual towel drying rack in a hotel parking lot.
Did you figure out that it was on a boat?
Thanks to all for comments received on the recent Spam Never Ends blog post. It seems that I may have provoked at least one particular spammer as I had an increased amount of spam comments the past few days. They were marked as spam and removed, as always. I sincerely hope that my drawing attention to this particular spammer hasn't resulted in any retributions on your blogs. It's puzzling why spammers have nothing better to do. A search of the Blogger Support Community didn't provide an effective way to prevent spam, other than comment moderation. It seems that Blogger should be able to provide an effective spam filter, once a comment has been marked as such.

On a far more serious note, here in the mid-Atlantic area, East Coast states are bracing for the season's first nor'easter this weekend with drenching rain and gusty winds. Some states may even get snow, although none is predicted in our area.

Enjoy your Weekend and stay safe, Everyone.

Funny drying rack for sure, but hey, whatever works, right? lol Spammers just make it uncomfortable for all of us, and obviously that is what they intend to do. We just have to be careful and aware. Have a nice Friday and upcoming weekend.

stay safe and hope the storm is not bad for you. mother nature has gone wild this year in every part of the USA... love the towel rack.. spam is hitting mine every day for some reason.

Cold and rainy here as well. The towel rack looks tacky, even on a boat. But I suppose you have to use whatever you have. Stay warm.

I did receive one spam comment. I don't know if it was the same one. I deleted it and blocked the source.

Hopefully the storm goes easy on you.

I wouldn't have known that was a boat.

On those occasions at my writer's blog when I write a post about spammers and scammers, they always attract spammer attention, even after I've suggested horrible ways for them to meet a bad end.

I'd say the boat owner is very resourceful. Hahaa

Stay warm and have a great weekend Beatrice.

Even with comment moderation, I still get quite a bit of spam. Oh well....

I wouldn't have guessed.

Well, well, look who I am following!!

I hope whoever owned those towels pegged them to the line in such a fashion they wouldn't blow off in the wind.

Yes, Valerie you were following an unfortunate comment, which has since been remived. It’s also interesting that this spammer used a slight variation in its name. I sincerely regret drawing attention to such a useless entity.

You use what you've got! At least they didn't blow away!

Before scrolling down, I was wondering what that was. Clever way to use what is available at hand.

Now that's being creative.
