Every Friday night at Holman Stadium, in Nashua, NH, there's a display immediately after the Silver Knights baseball game. The Silver Knights are a summer baseball team competing in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL).
While we could watch the light show from our apartment window, it's much more run to enjoy an evening at the ball field and stay for the show. Earlier this month, we attended the Knights home opener, which unfortunately they lost.
But, the fireworks were great, as always!
These photos were taken from our seats using a handheld Olympus Tough Stylus digital
This one was my favorite of the evening.
We'll be returning for another Friday night home game at the end of this month, which means another chance for fireworks shots. Also, the 2-for-1 hot dog specials are one of Grenville's favorite meals.

They are super fireworks shots. Sounds like a fun night.
There is a great void in my life because I have never shot fireworks. You did a fine job.
Then hot dogs and fireworks and your photos are gorgeous
These are great fireworks shots. So clear! I have tried to shoot fireworks for years, but I'm no where near as good as this. Baseball, hot dogs and fireworks -- nothing better.
Hot dogs at a ball game are great and your fireworks photos would make great note cards.
It is such fun to sit outside and watch fireworks. You feel almost as if they are raining down on you.
You have such a good camera. I also like your recipe for curry chicken salad.
The fireworks look amazing.
I would say these are very professional looking photos. I never knew there was such a setting. Great job!
Wonderful photos of the fireworks! Sounds like a fun time.
Wonderful fireworks! I've only done a video of fireworks, haven't photographed them.
Well, I think you did a great job at taking photos of the fireworks!
Beautiful pictures! We love a fireworks display and would love to see some at the Friday or Saturday night baseball games here in Lancaster. But Ellen does not like being anywhere close to fireworks so we don't go. I bet they are pretty from your apartment too!
Wow, how fun to have fireworks at the games! Lovely shots! Happy Paint Party Friday!
Gosh, I wish I had a camera that could capture such magnificent shots. Those firework displays are beautiful.
That must be a wonderful place to live. I like the sound of that ballpark with its hot dog special (yum.) And marvelous job on the fireworks photos! Just wow! I think it's so neat that you could also see them from your apartment window.
Our miss our old Atlanta/Fulton County stadium - just a regular old, no frills, stadium to catch a baseball game. Then came Turner Field (the Olympic stadium from the 1996 summer games in Atlanta.) It was more upscale, fancier food options, but in the same area as the old stadium.
But now. Shaking head. They've built a new stadium for the Atlanta Braves to play in in a northern suburb that is like going to an amusement park (I hear.) Fancy Schmancy. I'm boycotting it for now. :)
That sounds like a fun Friday night! I love all the colors you captured in the fireworks!
Sounds like a fun place to live.
