There's nothing pretty (or fun) about white snow that's been plowed high into piles. Despite rain this week, there's still stockpiles like this in parking lots around here.
Wow...you are correct, a pile of plowed snow is not pretty at all but on the flip side a pile of fallen snow is always so pretty. Sorry you have to endure the ugly after the pretty.
You did get large snowfalls this winter. We just didn't have so much. I hope the heat can melt that away soon and a spring rain will wash away all of that dirt.

I feel for you, Beatrice. Maybe spring will get their soon so the sun will melt all that stuff.
We have those piles here too, even though every day they'll get smaller. I doubt winter's quite done yet.
It should soon be gone.

Ugh, those big, dirty piles of snow. I'm always glad when they finally melt. Hope you have a great weekend!
I grew up in North Dakota and remember these big piles of snow. Yuck!
Ah yes, pristine snow and then this :)
We have those piles too. And unfortunately, like the one pictured, they aren't pristine white anymore.
It's definitely spring in Virginia, but we have a freeze warning tonight.
There's some of that around here too.
Well, there's no snow here in Hawaii. Lol.
Nasty!
So you've stooped to taking dirty pictures, have you????? Shame!
The green leaves have started to pop out here. Red buds are in full bloom. Saw my first iris last week.
Azaleas are opening.
Peas are up about an inch, onions 6 inches.
The only dirty pictures here are of freshly turned gardens!
So glad to not have to look at anymore snow.
