Friday Funnies

Now we know the holidays are rushed more and more each year. One hardly ends and stores have "stuff" for the next celebration. Easter candy was still out when I spotted these in a "dollar" type store last weekend. but July 4th seems a bit too early.

Doesn't it seem just a bit way too early planning for July 4th? We had snow flurries in New England this week!

No kidding.

OK, I'm not sure if these were meant for Memorial Day holiday at the end of May, but they sure looked like 4th of July decorations.

After all, Christmas in July is getting closer than you think; it's here in under 258 days according to this countdown.

What happened to Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Memorial Day? At least the merchandise you saw is colorful.

A little early indeed, unless you are my neighbor who adorns his home in patriotic colors.

goodness me, why can't we enjoy each occasion when it happens not months ahead of time?

Looks like July 4th to me too! Every year they put out the holiday items earlier and earlier.

Too early! I always giggle when I see swim suits on sale in stores in the winter!

I agree that they put out merchandise for the next holiday way too early! And I hate stores that have Halloween in one aisle and Christmas in the next one. Talk about jarring your senses!

I've discovered patriotic decorations are in vogue most of the time. I'm really happy about that. :) Christmas in July is becoming a bigger deal every year, too. Nice!

Oh my, yes, they have really gotten ahead of themselves.
