Friday Funnies

It's time for a sing along — There's "snow" people like . . .
SNOW PEOPLE
These snow folks were seen a couple of weeks ago on a downtown Nashua, NH sidewalk.

While this was a "fun" find, there are folks in so many states (and abroad) dealing with the effects of winter weather — snow, ice, freezing rain, flooding. We too have family and friends in other places and keep their safety and well being in our thoughts and prayers as we also do for many others.

Enjoy the weekend, everyone. But, for some of us, there's an hour less to do so, Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 8. But, not for everyone — the time change is not observed in Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

I am enchanted at the imaginations of people. What a cute way to make a smile out of a bothersome situation.

That is cute!

Here in Canada, the province of Saskatchewan also ignores daylight savings time.

Glad someone is having fun with it! I am not a fan of daylight savings time. I have a long(ish) adjustment time to the change. But what can I do. It's bound to happen.

Fun snow family! As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons.....

Our state legislature is discussing ending DST in Alaska. I hope they do, as it does absolutely nothing for us. We have plenty of evening light in the summer anyway.

Oh, they look just like little Snow Peeps.

Cute mini snowmen! Someone has a sense of humor in spite of all the snow.

I can't even imagine how it is for those who never really have bad winters! For us, who for once have a very mild winter it's the normal thing with lots of snow and low temperatures.

Daylight savings time happens here the last weekend in March every year.

Have a great day!
Christer.

Cute snow-people! We had plenty of miserable weather, but not enough snow for "art".

Now on to the dozens of devices that need attention due to the stupidity of changing the clocks.

Besides the obvious clocks, check you cars, coffee makers, thermostats, weather radios, ovens, microwaves ... I will be at it for the next two weeks, maybe months ...
