It’s not referring to the season, but grandkids we visited this fall during a family visit road trip.
Grandson will be turning 7 next month in early December followed soon afterwards by Christmas — every child’s delight.
His sister is just shy of 2-1/2 years old and is definitely quite the charmer, even at this young age. She is very verbal — her most-used words are awesome and sure.
Grandpa enjoyed the visit with the grandkids, which is always too short.
Upcoming road trips include a holiday visit and it will be just as grand with memories made.

The are such sweet kids. I too miss my one grandchild and moving to Chicago is out of the question. I am glad that the fell into your territory for a while.

Wonderful portraits of the grandkids! It is hard when they don't live close, but what a blessing when they can pop in often. Hopefully you'll be able to make your move soon.
