If you cannot fit a length of timber in the car, all you need to do is smash the rear window out and there you go! Makes perfect sense. As long as you don't overtake cyclists!
And this is why I have the good sense to stay home. Passed NO cars on the way to Wrights for Turkey Day dinner (Seaside rd) and very few between here and Zion Church.
I laugh when people complain about "rush hour" traffic here. I used to drive through Los Angeles and rush hour and holday traffic is not a fun way to travel there. Which is a big reason why we live here.
Oh my, that first photo was really something. I didn't have to deal with the holiday traffic this year. Looks like you did. Hope it wasn't too bad and that you were at least moving for most of the way.
That first pic surely does give one pause to wonder. As for traffic, I try to travel on only non-special holiday type days. I hate traffic ... shudder.
Crazy car photo! The traffic on Interstate 81 was pretty heavy today. I think some folks waited to drive home from their long weekend today. Wishing you safe travels.
Hello, I am behind on all blog readings and then I thought you were off line and had not checked, well now I am so glad I checked just now and see you are persevering! We had no traffic trials over Thanksgiving because we were at home and not traveling. But we did have Jerry's 95+ year old mother here from the nursing home for the day and that was a continuous upsetting challenge.

if i were in this traffic, i would want Scotti to beam me up... yowsa and very strange way to carry something in a car
Hum, that first one left me scratching my head. Strange!!!!
Prayers for your safe travels.
A rare find to see a post(lol) like this. Traffic wasn't too bad here, 5 cars would become a traffic jam.
Stayed home. No traffic. Yay!
I read about the really bad collision in Texas!
Yes what on earth has happened in that first photo :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
The first one made me think and wonder they shouldn't be driving period . Have a good day !

Glad I didn't have to contend with traffic like that. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We stayed around home too. Don't like holiday traffic.

We only traveled to the frig and back...LOL!...hope you two had a great one!!...:)JP
Oh my! I guess if one needs something bad enough, one will do whatever it takes! Hope this finds that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Not even a red flag.
I see the speed limit in that first image is 65 mph. I sure hope that car wasn't going that fast! It's bad enough he is out there at all!
I'm not sure what's going on in that first photo, but it doesn't look very safe. I hope all your travels went well.
Crazy car photo!

I am so glad I live in the country, and simply stay home!

I don't know where to start about that car with the long beam.
