That's right Folks, rainbow colored peeps. What ever happened to just traditional yellow chicks???? Happy little marshmallow blobs with enough sugar to cause instant diabetic shock. A few of those bad chicks could raise the dead..... AH YES!!!!! those were the days. When the chicks were yellow, and the rainbow colors were left to the jelly beans and boiled eggs. When three days after the last little yellow peep had been devoured the kids were still bouncing off the walls .
I'm wondering what holiday they will change next????? I'm hoping my birthday!!!!!!!

I'm with you, I prefer the sweet little yellow peeps myself. I don't like all the weird, bright colors.
Lol... look at all those peeps..I can't even find the yellow around here..
It gets even worse than peeps of many colors. Now there are Christmas peeps and valentine peeps. I don't even like the bunny peeps. Peeps are by definition LITTLE YELLOW CHICKS...end of story.

Plus I have never eaten even a yellow peep... so I don't have to worry about eating a pink one. LOL!
ROFL I don't buy Easter candy so have stayed off that aisle, so this is all new to me. the one thing i noticed is the neighbors have put giant lighted bunnies in their yard, 3 of them.
I love peeps. They can give me a sugar headache and I don't care what color they are. The marketing of them in rainbows makes crazy people more glad to pick some up.
I love Peeps. I like to let them get slightly stale and chewy, then have them with a cup of coffee. I can't eat the blue ones, though. There is something "wrong" with artificial blue. LOL!
