Eggs-Cellent Easter

Easter traditions for many kids (and adults too) include egg coloring and an egg hunt. Grandson Bobby and granddaughter Elizabeth were willing participants in both events again this year with help from mom and grandpa.

Bobby showed off his coloring style and was quite the color artist.

Ellie had lots of fun although year her hands were not as colorful as the previous year.

Mom Shannon and grandpa Grenville also colored eggs — there's no age limit to this fun.

Easter morning both grandkids were ready for the "hunt" with bags at the ready.

Next came opening the eggs and then checking out their finds. Both grandkids enjoyed sampling treats including jellybeans, chocolate, coins and currency.

Bobby and Ellie enjoyed opening Easter treats from grandparents Grenville and Beatrice.

Hope you and yours enjoyed an eggs-cellent Easter. Thanks for posting your good wishes.

Even as an adult, the transformation of the egg into the pastel color is so wonderful to watch. Looks like everyone was deep in the creative activity.

What a sweet post, loved all the family photos. Bobby and Elizabeth are the cutest! Grenville looks like he is enjoying the egg decorating fun just as much as your grandchildren.

Cute shots!

I don't think I ever got into colouring eggs, but certainly easter egg hunts, yes, I did those.
