It's the first day of spring, which officially arrives today in the Eastern US on Friday, March 20, at 10:46 a.m.
That said, the Nashua, NH, weather for the upcoming week is less than Spring-like and includes the possibility of light snow early this coming Monday.
Saturday, we're on a road trip as oldest granddaughter is participating in a cheerleading tournament in MA and earplugs will be taken along. If you've ever been to one of these events, you will know why these are a good great take-along.
Sunday, the Nashua Historical Society is hosting its annual member luncheon. These are always interesting events. This year, attendees have been asked to bring along something old to show and discuss. So, Patrick told me I could take him 😀.
Our at-home St Patrick's dinner was delicious thanks to chef Patrick. And, thanks for sharing how you would be observing the day (or not).

I hope hope hope it is only light snow. The forecast I saw had my area getting 7 or more inches of snow and or ice. AUGH!!!!! Make it stop. And ha ha, I hope Patrick makes a great show and tell item. :) hugs-Erika

It was very spring-like here in Kentucky, today. But! March/early April are very unpredictable. Reliable warm weather will be here for both of us soon!

We are enjoying beautiful, although a bit windy, spring weather today, after a week of really chilly temps and lots of wind. Spring has arrived. I love that VW. So cute. I've never been to a cheering competition, although I have seen some on TV. I can imagine they do get noisy. I was a cheerleader for 4 years, but we never had to do the things they do today...all those acrobatics they do...wow. We just had to be loud and jump up and down a lot. LOL. I was good at that. LOL. I'm sorry you still have more snow coming, but hopefully it won't stay long this time. the ducks are beautiful!!!!

Best luck to your granddaughter and her cheer team. I probably would have crossed out the word 'great' as well and substituted 'necessary'. I can't quite decide whether I need hearing aids or earplugs more (even on normally noisy days). Your community events sound fun and educational. A good combination.
we are also experiencing cold temperatures. we have been having "weather whiplash", cold one day, warm the next!! what a beautiful, shiny vw!!
The yellow car is cute. Hopefully you are having warmer weather now. It must be good to see the ice melting and the ducks dating. Have a good trip. Ha ha Patrick is funny.
