Some drivers, myself included, can find parallel parking a bit of a challenge at times.
Especially, when there's a car in front or back of the open space
But, this driver certainly didn't have any concerns and seemingly just drove in and left.
As seen in the photo, there was one vehicle parked behind this car, but no car was parked in front. Backing up and straightening out would have been easy or so it seemed..
At times, folks have asked Where do you find these things?
The answer is simple, everywhere.
The above photos were taken last weekend on a walk to the library. You just can't make this stuff up, folks. It's much easier just to look around.

Sunset on Monday evening this week as seen from our apartment |
While there's been a heat wave this week, it's wasn't the hottest recorded temperature ever recorded in Nashua. According to the National Weather Service, the record 106°F (41°C) was set on July 4, 1911, the highest temperature ever recorded in the state. And, 2024, was the warmest year worldwide since record keeping began in 1850.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
Heat wave over, but a(nother) rainy one is forecast for Nashua, NH

...some drivers just abandon their cars!
I never mastered parallel parking way back in the '60's my father took me to get my very first driver's license I didn't pass because of the parallel parking. My father says no worries we will go to another city-back then no computers. I got my drivers license-can't remember now but I think that one did not test for parallel parking.
so to this day at 75 years old I have never mastered that haha I always avoided those situations
Today the weather people say we have a chance for rain-we'll see haha
happy weekend
That is lovely picture of sunset.
I avoid // parking. It is only necessary on Main St, and there are always cars behind.
Maybe there was another car in front when that one was parked. I hate parallel parking and avoid it at all costs. So much effort to get proficient at a maneuver in order to pass the test that could have been better spent navigating actual traffic.
Ho ho ho! I mastered parallel parking, and now can do it on both sides (when I learned that I'm not sure.) I love driving, so when I arrive I am so grateful for a spot close to where I'm going. Not to cast any aspersions to those who don't like to parallel park...I drove a big camper van for 12 years, and part of that was becoming comfortable knowing where each of it's 4 corners were...and how to maneuver to get them to not hit another car/building. The back two were virtually invisible from the driver's seat. But don't ask me to drive anyone else's vehicle where I don't know those limitations! My hat's' off to semi-truckers who can back their rigs into tight loading docks.
Oh I forgot to say...(this is my brain coming off drugs!) love your sunset photo!!
I used to have no problem with parallel parking but would not consider attempting it now.The sky shot is striking.
Your sunset is absolutely gorgeous! It seems that the most beautiful sunsets come after the worst weather. I wonder if this parked car would be eligible for a ticket? My thoughts...in a big hurry, drunk, can't park, take your pick.
I take public transit. Your 🌇 🌅 sunset is absolutely stunning.
wow on the sunset and yowsa on the car park, you do find so many different and oh so odd things. maybe it stalled? maybe it will get a ticket too. ha ha
You are constantly paying attention to your surroundings. I admire that.
I avoid parallel parking at all costs! My spouse, however, is a master of it.
It's not just parallel parking that provides wild photos. It's just weird what some people do when driving,
Some drivers are definitely better at parking than others!!!
That is a beautiful sunset.
Have a lovely weekend.
All the best Jan
I hope that 105 temperature is never broken. The 80s are too hot for me.
The first time I took my driving test I failed because of parallel parking. I finally mastered it, but I try very hard to avoid having to park that way. Judging by the dents on that car, I'd say that person has other driving issues as well! LOL. Oh, it sounds like you had a hot week. I'm glad it's over. I'd gladly take 80's and rain over 100's anytime. Hope you have a happy weekend.
What a lovely sky.
Hey, I can parallel park on the left side of the road as well as on the right side. Ta Dah!!
I spent a whole summer learning these manouevers next to my mother's annual flower bed, with two oil drums standing in for cars.
You would have to know my father to really understand this. I assure you no flowers were lost in the making of this parker.
Wow, they just left the car that way. yes, we had the hot hot this past week. I didn't mind it though I didn't have to be in it long so that makes a difference too.
My husband's car thermometer read 112 when he left work Tuesday. Of course he was parked in a paved parking lot which makes a big difference. I'm not a great parallel parker but I would never leave my car like that. You might lose the back in when someone comes flying down the road. Stay dry this morning.
This person needs a note on his car "Warning. I don't know how to park."
Exactly -- you find things everywhere. You just have to look! And yes, stinking hot -- and sticky too!
You would love parking in Rome. Never parallel to the pavement, quite often at 90°! B x
That stunning sunset—what a view!
As for the parking situation, I don’t drive, so I’ll just take everyone’s word that it’s tricky.
Oh boy, I would have stayed away from that car as well! We have not parallel parked in a while, but I am confident that we could do much better than that!
It never gets that hot in Hawaii. It zooms up to 89F max. I hate to park, period.
I'm not particularly fond of parallel parking, but I think I can do better than the above photo.
It was brutally hot here in New York for three days in a row last week. I usually love the hot weather, but this was horrible.
Love the sunset photo
it sure felt hot, the one thing i really dislike about summer. i see a lot of weird things around here too, especially during the summer from those ny drivers. gorgeous sunset, we had one here recently too!!
I will drive a million miles so I don't have to parallel park.
That sun set is stunning. I am no fan of the hot weather.
Cathy
I pride myself on my parallel parking. It's always been something I was good at! Interesting that that person just left the car like that.
You have a good eye for finding funnies. That looks a bit like my parking lately. I used to be so good at parking when I was young but now I am finding it more difficult.
I saw eldest son dealing with such parking and I can say it wasn’t easy at all specially when cars are parked randomly and carelessly
The sunset from your apartment window Looks enchanting wow
Thank you for sharing this beauty with us my dear friend Dorothy 🥰😍♥️
