Yikes, it's December 1 😲
Welcome to a new month and a new Friday Funny. The caption that came to mind for this one was (are you ready?) — rock solid.
Our holiday season starts this weekend as we attend a holiday concert by Kenny G here ↓.
This performing arts center is within walking distance of the mill apts. We will be there again next week for a(nother) holiday concert, this one by swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. This band was formed in Ventura, CA, in 1989 by leader Scotty Morris. The group was named after Morris met blues guitar legend Albert Collins at one of his concerts and signed a poster — To Scotty, the big bad voodoo daddy.
Any fans of either of these performers?
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
So far we're snow-free in Nashua, NH

I like a few of Kenny G, not a fan of jazz and don't know the other group. a gifted artist that painted the flag, it looks real.
I envy you seeing/hearing Kenny G in person!
These sound like fun events. I love small venues, and even better you can just walk. Have fun.
That flag is so realistic. I am not a fan of Kenny G and I've never heard of the other. That said, enjoy yourself. Concerts are fun.
That rock painting is incredible. It must have taken a lot of work!
I love swing and used to dance the swing with David when we were well. I also like Kenny G, very mellow music. I notice there is a ramp in front of your theatre, which is necessary for people like me using walkers. Enjoy the concerts.
I would go see either of those concerts. We are going this weekend to see Straight No Chaser.
That flag really rocks.
Have fun!
The flag is spectacular. Good photo
I love the paintings on rocks. They are lasting tributes.
Oh, I love Kenny G. You lucky girl, you!!
I've heard of Kenny G, but never heard of the other. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and at the next one, too. :)
Aprecio blues, mas não conhecia nenhum dos artistas mencionados.
Abraço musical.

A concert within walking distance of your home sounds good! Have a wonderful December!
Given my druthers, I’d rather the rock was left just the way the glacier desposited it!
Albert Collins I know of -- not the others! Rock solid!
Good to know the new Nashua Center for the Arts is thriving. But I don't know either of those performers!
Great photo of the flag. Enjoy your concerts, sounds like a great time ahead.
I like the american flag in any position, place, context.
Since Covid, I've become very selective about concerts, as it involves sitting in a crowd.
I am a big fan of Kenny G!
Love the painting on the rocks.
Hugs and blessings, Dorothy
Hi Beatrice, Unlike our very divisive politics here in the USA, that flag is solid as a rock for sure! Location, location, location... You live in an area where food and entertainment is walkable while still having great views of the river. We have the scenery for sure but nothing is walkable. Then again, we don't have much winter weather to deal with. In all the time we have spent in New England and the back roads taken over the years, we never saw a moose either. Our only moose sightings have been in Nova Scotia, Idaho and Wyoming. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I love the rock art! ☺ Glad you enjoyed the concert!!
Oh I would love to be there for either of those concerts..Love live music and I bet these are fabulous. How nice to have the concert hall so close to you.
Happy December

Wow! Fancy Kenny G still performing! I still have the "Breathless" CD, and remember when I bought it. I bought it in Bowen one weekend when I was on my way to spend the couple of days at Rose Bay, a beautiful beach just out of Bowen. I was working in the coal-mining town of Collinsville at the time (not working in the mines, but as a chef!) :)
you have really powerful eyes my friend :)
i really appreciate how you bring forth such intriguing funnies which otherwise would have remained unnoticed :)
That sure is a rock solid flag. I hope you enjoyed the concerts. I like Kenny G, but I am not familiar with the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
