Friday Funnies

Nature can present some unusual images; as proof, here's a few of my sightings.

Does this look like a devil tree or Batman? (thanks, Rita). It was seen on a snowshoe trail in North Conway, NH, this past winter.
Not quite sure about this plant face, which almost looked like a duck. It was seen in the garden near the mill apartments
This massive tree looked as if it had very large feet. It was seen on our recent visit to Newport, RI.
And, since this is the month of all things mysterious and creepy, how about this root hand?
Keep looking around. You never know what you might see.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
A rainy and cool forecast in Nashua, NH

Tropical Storm Ophelia is spreading heavy rain, strong wind gusts, high surf, and coastal flooding along the Eastern Seaboard this weekend, including our home state of NJ and along the Virginia Eastern Shore our former home. We hope everyone will be safe.

I love those photos! Yes, nature can give us a great show if we are paying attention. Fun stuff.

I'm not usually very good at spotting these likenesses, but I can certainly see all those. Showery weather is forecast for us too.

I love what you see there... yes, I see faces and feet and Batman/Devil too. Wonderful photos.
Hope you have a great weekend too.

The pareidolia is highly present with you. 😊

I saw the same things as MadSnapper..huge feet, breasts and belly button! Also saw Batman immediately.
I love seeing other things in the mundane and "normal".
Wish you could pass some of that rain over here to No. California.
We need it so much.
Enjoy your weekend anyway.

I can see the things!! I'd say yes to Batman. Ron always sees faces in things. I think it's called face pareidolia.
We're getting the rain too. Good for maybe getting more cleaning done.

It's always fun to see what shapes might be in some objects. I see some interesting faces in my neighbor's fence.

Amazing and unique photos. The first tree does resemble Batman but I think it's a devil tree.

I guess you can find all kinds of things in nature if you look hard enough. Interesting captures, Beatrice.

I love natural forms that look like something else, though they're often a little creepy as well as being amusing. The tree with the "feet" is great, and I love its patterned bark too. I haven't a clue what sort of tree it is though, but I think one that doesn't grow in England for sure. As for the first picture, I definitely think Batman. Stay safe in the storm!

I love this post. The tree with feet also has eyes and a mouth.
