Grand PA Visit

It's been 6 months since we visited our youngest granddaughter and family. But, since our recent wedding trip to NJ made the trip to PA about 2-1/2 hours more, of course we extended our trip.

We last saw her in December for her first birthday. She wasn't yet walking at that time. But that has changed fast. Now she's a very active toddler who is not only walking, but running around keeping her parents (very) busy. And, like many children can be quite serious when watching something.
While waiting for dinner, she offered crayons and kisses. This little girl who is growing up fast.
Grandpa's cap provided some entertainment and a good photo opportunity as well.
Our visit was just an overnight one this time. Her parents both work and Monday mornings come early, unlike for retirees like us. We visited a bit more after dinner, before bedtime.

Such a blue-eyed doll! And she's generous, offering crayons and kisses...
Kids can be look very serious when watching something that interests them (like us, adults), but with them it's seems amazing behaviour.

I giggled when I saw the picture of a little beauty wearing a cap. How gorgeous is that? That one should be framed and displayed.

She is so sweet. I can remember our grandsons going through that stage. They just zoom around and get into everything.

No offense to Grandpa (you know I love you) but Lilliana looks much cuter in the hat.

Lilliana is adorable! It's nice you were able to spend some time with her. It's amazing how fast they go from crawling to running!

They are so precious these grandchildren aren't they? Our past, our future all wrapped up in clear blue eyes. Lilianna is a deep thinker I believe.

She always looks so, um, expressive.
