Many folks living in New England didn't dream of a White Christmas, they had one. Here in Nashua, NH, we had an 8-inch snowfall that started shortly after midnight on Christmas Eve and went until noon on Christmas Day. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop into the teens this week, so the white stuff will be staying around for awhile.
We had plenty of snow, not only on Christmas but on two previous days. I had to shovel one driveway in order to drive home and our own once we got here.
A white Christmas, I am envious! But, the cold temps. You can have those. It is in the 20s where I am early this morning. And, it will be in the 30s and 40s all week. brrrr.
I was at my sister's house and there was about a 1/2 inch of snow and ice there but when I got home, there was nothing. Glad you had a safe and white Christmas.
I say it every year. Look at how grown up Bobby and Ellie are! I suppose next year Lilliana will be in college. Your overnight temperature was in the teens. That has been our daytime temperature. Single digits are forecast for today and the warmest day in the near future will be a balmy 26 degrees.
We had a dusting of snow last night. I don't think it counts as a white Christmas but it was nice to have a little snow. Being on the West coast of Scotland makes snow a rare thing, the Gulf stream keeps the temperatures up. Have a lovely week xx
My part of the world has been threatened with deep snow... well we got snow but not deep. It is freezing cold though which reminds me of how it was when I was a child, rushing out to throw snowballs and build snowmen. Your photographs of the grandchildren are lovely.
The kids are sooooo cute. Glad you got to spend some quality time with them. I bet you miss them Stay warm in this cold and have a great rest of the year. Happy holidays. Hugs Erika

We usually have no snow at all where I live. I must admit I'm pleased with that. I like pictures with snow, but no snow in real life.

that first photo is just gorgeous and so are your grand babies
Cold and windy - but the grass is still green, camellias still in bloom. bird feeders busy.
Got new wind chimes for Christmas - they got a work-out!

No snow here in my part of North Carolina but that's just fine with me. Sounds like you had a good one and the kids too !
We had some flurries on Christmas Eve and that was a monumental occasion here in KY. lol! Hope your Christmas was a great one!

We enjoyed a white Christmas on Boston's North Shore! It was beautiful (and a bit icy)
OMG! How big the kids are, Dorothy...beautiful...:)JP
We had no snow here in Hawaii, though there might have been some on the mountains on the Big Island.
Love.
Cute grandkids!
We got snow through Christmas Day before it turned cold and clear. Most Christmases do tend to be white here.
These are sweet pictures of your grandchildren. We've got snow and very cold temperatures here.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Dorothy! And congratulations on the upcoming sale of your VA house.
That is a cute baby!
