Maybe, he knows the person who left this boot a few weeks ago.
(This clothes pile was on the sidewalk outside our mill apt complex; seems someone left in a hurry. No need to make this stuff up, folks, we just keep looking around.)

I am reminded of the book, The Time Traveler's Wife. Whenever he was taken to a different time, nothing went with him, including his clothes. It is a wonderful book btw.
the wife through them out the window? he dropped his suitcase while running from someone and could not pick all the stuff up?
stumbled while walking home with a bag of new clothes and did not realize they fell out? or i am going with.... someone is a nudist at heart and dropped the clothes and took off streaking

Hmmm - could someone have been carrying a load of laundry to their car and these fell off? Curious.
There was a large towel in front of my building for a few days - I finally decided it would be a good utility towel, washed it (twice) and kept it.

I never knew that Superman hung out in New Hampshire, but if you haven't heard of any tragedies happening, he must have saved the day. It's got to be hard on him since phone booths have disappeared.....
