Blogger meet-ups are wonderful and we been fortunate to have met several online friends in the past few years and again this past weekend. We met Dianna (These Days of Mine) and Motorman (JR) during our weekend visit to Hampton, VA. They graciously made the 1/2 hour drive from their home to meet for dinner.
Dianna brought a gift (no, not a horse). As many blog readers may (or may not know) Grenville and I burn candles — morning with coffee, evenings with dinner, and often "just because." This thoughtful gift will be has already been put to good use in our home.
Our weekend trip included a short "flight" — more on that experience in a future post.
Thanks, Dianna and JR. It was great fun meeting you both. We hope you will let us know the next time you visit the VA eastern shore.

Lovely photos ! I like candles to but I don't use them that much mainly for power outages lol ! We almost met you both when you were here in Ontario Canada but timing for us just wasn't on our side was it ? One day we will meet ! I would love to be able to travel and meet fellow bloggers maybe when Papa retires we will . Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !

well I see I posted too fast and made a finger swipe yesterday that's book blog not dog! I make too many swypos on the phone and tablet When will I learn to read what I swype before I enter!

I've met Dianna, but not Motor Man yet. I met another blogger here in VB and we've gotten to be good friends. She introduced us to another man in our area. I have a couple more a little further away I'd like to meet this year.
