24-Hour Weather

There's a quote attributed to American humorist and writer Mark Twain (1835–1910)
If you don't like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes.

That was true in Nashua, NH, but it took at least a day. After a 4-5 inch weekend snowfall, warmer temps and rain followed Monday afternoon.

This early Tuesday a.m. view showed the snow-clearing weather results. And there's NO snow forecast the rest of this week — maybe spring will be a bit earlier than expected?

Meanwhile,  6+ year-old granddaughter Ellie helped plow snow in RI and 1 year-old granddaughter Lilliana played in the weekend snow in Pennsylvania.

What a difference!

We had rain in the night and this morning, but it appears to have stopped. I doubt we've seen the last snowfall for the year though, as March can be rough.

It has been pouring here. Still plenty of snow on the ground though.

Hmmmm - early spring? That's a nice thought, but I will believe it when it's here. Strange weather this weekend, though - snow overnight and 40s the next day - 60s today... Your grandkids are adorable!

Those GK's are the best! 48 hours ago we had four inches of snow. Yesterday it hit the 60's and rain, lots of rain. Now the temp is dropping rapidly and we're to get a ton of ice in about an hour. Wildest winter in years but at least it's not boring!

What an amazing difference without the snow. A joy to see the girls playing in the snow.

No snow where I live ... I think the old expression 'it's too cold for snow' applies right now. Roll on Spring!

I still prefer Hawaiian weather...

Snow and kids go well together, as you can see from your charming grandgirls happily playing with it.

We say that about Melbourne weather down south. If you don't like the weather in Melbourne just wait 15 mins. They are the cutest grand children.

In their age snow is FUN and i can see how much fun they are having in the snow .

i miss those days when we used to play in snow when visited area where snowfalls and enjoyed the delicate touch of snowflakes:)

Sweet pictures of the grands. Our weather has been back and forth and up and down and all around lately.
