Lest We Forget

Today, December 7, is the 71st anniversary of the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii that claimed the lives of over 2,300 U.S. servicemen and the loss or damage of 21 vessels and several hundred aircraft.
The list of survivors is dwindling, ceremonies marking the date are fewer, and date itself is if often overlooked in the midst of holiday time.
We pause to remember the importance of this date and those who died for our freedom.
