Friday Funnies

Here, we are at the last weekend of the month. September starts on Monday. Our summer season has gone by quickly with family events and friends get togethers. And, of course, our Alaska anniversary adventure (more to come on that trip).

As yesterday's post was about holiday auto accidents. This one will be a lighter one also about cars. Yes, here's more vanity plates.

For all the dog lovers, this plate was not a fun one to see on a recent walk to the library.
But, that's not all that was on the back of this vehicle, here's what was on the back window.
There is some serious love of pug dogs happening here.
Baseball season will soon be ending in the U.S., but these plates clearly showed the motorists' attachment to favorite baseball teams, both red (New England Patriots) and white (Chicago White Sox).
No comment on what this plate refers to, but it was not spotted on a convertible auto. As noted in a blogger comment, it could refer to the loss of someone's head hair.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
It's the unofficial end of Summer 🏖️. Welcome Autumn 🍁.

Your area has many more personalized license plates than mine. Those pugs look sad.

Thanks for the chuckle. Where did summer go? Too soon for my taste, but geese, the weather even agrees!

When I first saw TOPLSSS I thought of a convertible. I'm not exactly enthralled with pug dogs, perhaps I could be a CatDad.....

I have yet to see a tag like these here, but I don't go out much and when I do I am driving, so they might be all around me

Did you really see all of those plates on cars? I hardly ever see one and if I do, it's usually on the highway and I can't get a photo. Lot's of fun- thanks.

You see the most intriguing plates, Dorothy.

Hi Beatrice, I always love your license plate posts. My wife and I saw a rear window sticker that was highly suggestive but not openly lewd... but still not fit for publication without either a 'PG' or 'R' rating. It involved an arrangement of common peanut. A middle age woman was driving. Weird. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

I like these license plates. You don't see anything personalized around here!

The Pug Mom was funny. You seem to have a lot of personalised plates there.

Oh dear Dorothy these pugs! They are so cute! We have a Pug and Pincher mix at home in the Philippines and she passed away last year and it was really sad because I was in Spain when it happened. You always have the most fun license plates dear Dorothy! Wishing you an amazing September! been a challenging August for me but also trying my best to be strong and better in mindset. Sending you big hugs!

Or TOPLSSS could refer to a bus that drove under a low bridge and lost its roof.

i think you see a lot more vanity plates where you are, i don't see or notice them much here!! the last one i thought could be "shirtless" but who knows!! on my blog you asked about the sausage sandwiches, i left the following reply: we had the sausage sandwich at jenkinson's (jenks). there are 2 jenks eateries, this one is furthest away from the action but still before all the houses start. theirs are much better than the other ones!!
