Friday Funnies

Anyone who doesn't think that Mother Nature doesn't have a sense of humor would be greatly mistaken, at least here in New England. (Most likely in many other places as well.)
Within the span of 1 week, the weather in Nashua, NH, went from this the first snowfall ❄️ of winter fall ↑ temperatures hovered at 30 degrees (F) ☃️ all day with a 2-inch accumulation.
Today, and into early next week at least, this is ↓ what the weather forecast will be like in Nashua, NH. it will be like mid-spring weather is 🌻🌼🌸 is back. These blooms were captured months ago as many still-in-late bloom didn't survive last week's wintery blast.

We are thankful for no storms or other natural disasters headed here. While this temperature spike was unexpected, it's not awful news in view of what's happening everywhere today.

It does seem that Mother Nature really does have a great sense of humor or, at least, is a very good trickster, even if late for Halloween.

As always, many thanks for your comments on recent day trips. I enjoy sharing information about our adventures and am grateful these are appreciated by others.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone.
We're walking & going to an organ concert

I agree, Mother Nature certainly does have a sense of humor. This past week, we had temps in the upper twenties and low thirties and snow. Now we're having some gorgeous spring temps and one of my little roses is blooming. Whatever Mother Nature feels like on any given day is what we'll have for weather that day. Sounds about right to me. hahaha. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

The main thing is no weather extremes - no strong winds or heavy rains, no floods, no hail or natural disasters. Even if I don't go out as usual, I like to know that things are calm outside.

We are hoping that mother nature does not bring ETA the stormed to us it looks like it might come this way. Which is very unusual for this time of year. I think most of the world is experiencing up-and-down temperature is just like you are

Yes, it's been the same here. We've had some really nice Fallish weather earlier this week (and last), yet it suddenly feels as if Spring is on it's way, moving into Summer. It looks like next week will be bringing more of my favorite Fall weather again -- "jacket weather."

Beautiful photographs!

Have a faaaaaaabulous weekend, my friend. Have fun at the concert!

We took a picnic (thanks to Panera) outside yesterday. Unbelievable weather change.

Mother Nature is playing games here on the South Coast of Ohio, too. I'm glad we had one night of a freeze, though, because it got rid of those pesky bugs that get so aggressive in the Fall. It's summer here again today in the 70's. Go figure!

Proper autumn weather over here at last - early morning mist and fog, bright sunny days and a touch of frost at night - perfect! Though I suspect she'll have some hilariously funny joke up her sleeve before long.

We have similar temperatures forecast, at least until Sunday. We'll see if that stays true.

We're having similar weather changes here, but in reverse. Temps in the mids 70s the other day and now a hard frost warning for Sunday.

I do think nature has a sense of humor, even if we don't always get. Today our temperatures are 25 degrees less than yesterday, just like that. But it's often said that Northern California has the four seasons in one day and i certainly has been true for the past two weeks. Enjoy the spring like weather!

She is being kindly at the moment, but I wonder what ricks she has up her sleeve.

You said it...Momma Nature has done more joking around...here we've had several frosts, and I put the plants I don't care to keep out on the balcony, which has a roof, and a bit of shelter. They were't hurt by the frosts at all yet, so today I watered them. We'll have 70s for the next several days!

Thankfully no snow here, apart from the mountain tops. Mother Nature does like to play tricks.

We are having quite mild weather here in the UK, which is just as well as we are in full lockdown again.

Same here, except we didn't get the snow last weekend. Now I'm wearing flip flops and a t-shirt and I've tucked my gloves back into the drawer. Fingers crossed for another good week. Not needing 70, but would be happy with sunshine and fifty degrees. Take care!

Hi Dorothy! :) Mother Nature is a trickster, she needs to make sure we're all on our toes at times! :) We're having balmy weather here right now!

The flowers are probably confused! What season is it anyway? Am I supposed to be fading or blooming or budding? Oh well I think this year has confused every living creature )).
