Friday Funnies

Maybe I missed something, but when did a dachshund AND a pig become associated with Christmas decorations?

These yard decorations were on display in a local store. Have you seen any holiday oddities this year and what were they?

I have an assortment of pickle decorations for the tree. Going out this weekend to look over decorations, bought my poinsettia yesterday so I'm official.

That's a coincidence, I didn't see a pig but saw the dachshund dressed in similar gear on top of a veterinarian sign yesterday. They must be in vogue this year.

I haven't seen the dachshund in any Christmas décor but a pig... yes. Of course, I live near Smithfield, Va. where PIG is king.
Get it... Smithfield ham and bacon and such.

Have not seen a pig or dachshund. This dog looks a lot like my Harriet!!!

Have a lovely weekend.

Pigs are absolutely important Christmas symbols here in Sweden! It goes way back in our history and no christmas without a big chocolate dipped marzipan pig :-)

Dachshund's however are just cute but no symbols here either :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

oh yes, i saw a pig, a big one and our neighbor has a green blow up dinosaur that is 12 feet tall.. like the kind in the parades except it doesn't fly. i don't like any of these , but i think they come from the kids movies. Dino the dino has on a Santa hat, a tiny one on one ear.

Alas, to make a buck, sellers will stick a Santa hat on just about anything.

That rates as very odd!

I am just happy to see anyone enjoy Christmas. Whatever it takes to give them the holiday spirit is good.

Well, as a matter of fact, I found a gift from last year that I want to re-gift. I just don't know who I could dump it on...I mean give it to!...:)JP

Ha! Well, they're cute, but I'm not sure what they have to do with Christmas either.
