WHY?
It's the anniversary of our 1st date on May 16, 1997 — YIKES 17 years ago.
Yes, we celebrate this date as well as our wedding anniversary, which is in August.
And, we are still having fun. Doesn't it show?
Just as in previous years, we're doing something special to celebrate...details later.

I probably say this every year, but this is/was my mother's birthday, and tomorrow is our anniversary.

My first date with David was in May 1977, but I can't remember the exact date. I have 6 hats that I wear at various times. Yours look cute.

Hi Dorothy. We celebrate the Day We Met, too! To keep things simple, we met and married on the same month and day -just not in the same year. :)

Congratulations and you both look good in hats...which is something I've always wanted but have never been able to do. ENJOY.
You two make an adorable couple and I also love those hats. 17 years to the first date? Mine was a ride over Dartmoor with Gregg in my old rust bucket of a mini, where he had to get out of and fill the radiator up after every steep hill because there was a leak in it. We laugh about it now. Anyhow, that was our first date, which maybe we should start celebrating, you have sown the seeds :)
