Did You Know?

In a previous post last week, there were photos of long and winding roads and I asked if anyone could identify the state we were driving through.

In addition to the roads, we also saw a lot of these items — clothes drying outdoors, barns, and cows.

If you guessed (or didn't know) we were in the state of Pennsylvania.

I'll bet that was a beautiful trip. I've only been to Gettysburg, via Washington, DC, once to visit my niece's college with my sister. I remember that being a nice drive, but it was more interstate highway, I guess.

I was wrong again. But it doesn't matter. It was beautiful scenery no matter where it is.

Very scenic. It looks very much like Amish country in Ohio too.

It's been a long time since I've been in Pennsylvania.

The colors of the clothes give away the Amish country scene. I have never been in that state. Beautiful shots.

Yay, I was right! We have roads like that in Virginia too but something was Pennsylvania-familiar about those.
