It was a beautiful winter wonderland, while it lasted. Luckily we didn't have anywhere we needed to drive to, so we didn't. Instead, we took a walk to the downtown area.
By Sunday mid morning, the major roadways were dry and snow cleared. Also, most of the walkways were clear which was nice for foot travelers like ourselves.
But, this is the proverbial quiet before the storm as a major snowstorm (winter storm Juno) is being forecast for most of the Northeast, starting late Monday through Tuesday. It's being predicted to leave as much as up to 36 inches of snow in New York and Boston. Blizzard conditions are being predicted for some states, including our native NJ.
This morning's view from our NH apartment gave little indication of nasty weather to come in the next 24-36 hours.

What a pretty environment. So, I gather you are living in New Hampshire now? Good luck!
Yes Gigi, we are currently splitting time between two states, VA and NH. This year, we will also be spending time in our home state of NJ as a result of my mother's passing in Dec.
I'm kindof surprised that you are way up North instead of in your Virginia home during this wintery weather ... but it sure is beautiful. Hope you won't be overwhelmed in the coming storm.
Sounds like you don't have to clear it off either.Just heard the historic storm coming your way
we saw the projected storm and i thought of you... glad you can stay home. i like the traffic signal shot on your walk about... and the tree in the middle of the collage is so beautiful..
Lovely photos ! I do hope all in the path of the Juno storm stay safe and cozy . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
How serene everything looks. Winter scenes are so beautiful.
You have a beautiful view!! Stay warm, stay safe with the coming storm. We have more snow today too. It's nothing compared to what's predicted up north!
Your photos are so pretty! Love that blue sky. I hope you stay safe and warm through the storm.
Beautiful snow images! Your last image would make a gorgeous Christmas card.
What a beautiful view. Stay warm and cozy in this weather.
Very pretty! Yes, stay in and wait out what's coming.
You have a spectacular view....I love when the snow coats every branch of every tree!!
Terrific photos - that vivid blue water is gorgeous. Stay safe and warm, my friends.
Great view in that last photo.
I am almost sad to be missing that storm. We haven't had a big one yet, and this seems like a whopper. Whoppers .... mmmm ... been a long time since i had a Whopper.
Two very nice views. Stay safe and warm you two.
You are right it doesn't look like a storm is approaching but we saw it on TV tonight it looks awfully cold and dangerous. I hope you missed out like NY did.
I always envy people who get to experience snow. I know, people say it is nice only for sometime, but later on it becomes nuisance.
Although our son has lived for many years in Ann Arbor michigan, and now for the last 2 years he has been living in Chicago,he never allows me to visit him during the winter, he always says it would not be good and we won't be able to travel and see much during the winter, for weather in these places are awful.
Maybe in my next birth I get to be born in a place that has minimum 3 months of snowy winter.
Really lovely pictures, makes me want to be there right now.
