But I think I´ll buy some plants anyway and try them. I´ll plant them together with my Arctic raspberries (Rubus Arcticus) I bought last year because they like the same conditions (but the raspberries are much hardier though). But I doubt I´ll find blueberries that are so cheap :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-43632445827094590872011-04-05T10:58:20.799-04:002011-04-05T10:58:20.799-04:00Goods Morning Everyone,

I'm hoping that the blueberries will survive here Linda. Our soil has a pH of 6.5 and the berries like it at 5.5. I just picked up some sulfur at the Garden Supply to 'Acidify" the BB Patch. Lois, we will save some weeding for your return trip. Eastern Shore is right on the way home so stop in anytime. I never showed JD and his Tiller Steve???? I will remedy that later. I love fun words like nefarious and dastardly Sandra. They are so seldom used, poor things. Thanks for the compliment Mona. We should be sharing lots of pictures of butterflies this summer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-57493509407906383712011-04-05T10:42:48.328-04:002011-04-05T10:42:48.328-04:00You'll have a beautiful yard and garden. I love blue berries and i would have begged for the bunny to. in the last shot I thought she threw away the mower, looks like it is buried at first glance. and as for the wild flowers, can't wait to see them, i love wild flowers above all others.MadSnapperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08163140037276496519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-23200968930203961282011-04-05T09:37:08.529-04:002011-04-05T09:37:08.529-04:00You must have the tiller attachment for your Deere...You must have the tiller attachment for your Deere. There are a lot of plants that are good for butterflies, but some like particular colors. Each year when buying flower seed I canhear my gramndmother saying that you can't eat them. One year I planted all the flower you can eat just to tease her.Out on the prairiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09548162534362532705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-25889195414752461012011-04-05T09:00:11.829-04:002011-04-05T09:00:11.829-04:00That is one big "garden." We'll be going back to sea in a few weeks so any gardening I might do now would be left unattended this summer. Depressing, huh.

But, I'll be able to watch your beautiful garden all summer if you post images of it here. ;)Lois Evensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11129343619065721588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-60007776933136414672011-04-05T08:46:57.820-04:002011-04-05T08:46:57.820-04:00Seeing how much of your yard will now be a garden ...Seeing how much of your yard will now be a garden reminded me of what my husband would say about our yard when he was young. Yes, we live in the house that my husband lived in for most of his life. Bob's father was a gardener. Most of the yard was a garden. We have no garden now. The yard is bumpy because of its prior use. We have four blueberry plants in our back yard. It is really nice to go out and pick fresh blueberries.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504757647826212517.post-70005296976435671112011-04-05T07:28:45.675-04:002011-04-05T07:28:45.675-04:00I think you have more of a farm than a garden. :)I think you have more of a farm than a garden. :)Anvilcloudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07974744042579564912noreply@blogger.com
