A few weeks ago we had strawberries producing very nicely in planters and hanging baskets on our deck--but then a moose came along and mowed them down. Well, we are in the process of ripping things out in preparation for winter, but still annoying. We are planning a raised bed for next year, but it will be inside a 8-foot chain link enclosure that we have.
