Friday Funnies

Christmas in July (even if the final day of the month) . . .

And for those counting down, there's less than 150 days left until Christmas 2015.
And the Hallmark store in the local mall is (more than) ready. If you must really know how many more days until the celebration or want to get your shopping started (or done), here's where you can get an exact countdown.

Enjoy your weekend, Everyone

Hobby Lobby aims to have it all up by July 4th. I see that they have the fall stuff up and on the shelves also. I said to my wife that I am surprised they don't have the Valentines up. The garden things get taken away by the end of May and the bargains are junk after that for garden deco. If anyone who wasn't quite right in their mind they could walk in and think they missed summer altogether.

Those card shops start it all here too, though in the past they've at least not started it before the second week of August.

I have to do my shopping early because most of my children and grandchildren live so far away. I need to have time to get the boxes mailed and delivered before the big day. It is also nice to pay for just a few gifts a month. It hurts my budget less.

I'm with Andy up there ^^. Humbug, indeed. It's way too early for this stuff.

That's funny. I am always thinking of what Xmas gifts to give my grandkids.

We just had Christmas in July over on Etsy, too. I have a few Christmas things in the shop and was delighted to have sold some of them. I have friends "down under" who celebrate Christmas in July when it is cold there. Makes sense to me!
