Dreaming of Spring?

Grenville relaxing in the hammock a week ago when afternoon temps reached the 70s.

Here's the hammock (sans Grenville) this past Monday after a brief snowfall.

That coating of snow is all gone now which means he'll be back for his late afternoon siestas very soon.

Temps are supposed to reach the mid-60s in these parts by the weekend.

Happy 1st Day of Spring !

Is there a warming trend yet in your part of the country/world?

It's warming up a bit here. We had a bit of overnight rain rather than snow. But Mr Winter isn't done with us yet.

Spring can't get here quick enough for most of us this year! Seems that the winter has just been so harsh and dragged on way too long!

We used to have a hammock. I'd love another one, Grenville looks very comfortable :) Well, we are at 52 today and sunny, and on Saturday it is going to get up to 68. However it will be cloudy. Next Tuesday we are supposed to have snow again!!!!

Thanks for the Happy First Day of Spring. I'd forgotten that. Also thanks for the great idea of giving used cell phones to the organization for domestic abuse.

Yes, it's *finally* warming up (though the sun is being a bit shy still:), despite the random snow piles it feels like winter is finally behind us!

Well, yes, we've had a warming trend, but still two feet of snow on the ground. Nope, not hammock weather!

I'd like to be Grenville on that hammock, he looks so comfortable! Here in Paris, the temps have fallen oddly enough. We're expecting a mix of rain and sun and cooler weather (50s) the next several days after more than a week of sun and temps in the 60s :) Happy Spring to you Beatrice!

Yep.... I'd say he's perfected the art of relaxation! Hopefully the weather will be warm for again soon, but until then there's probably an easy chair indoors by the heater/fireplace where he can keep practicing! :)

Warming here has meant only to 45 degrees or so, but once again temps are down and yesterday late brought a white dusting....oh spring may hibernate until summer this year. 70 degrees! I'd likely break out in a sweat! Longing for warmth!
