Post Holiday Birthday

This past weekend, Grenville and I continued our holiday visits to family members. We safely traveled snowy roadways from the VA eastern shore through parts of MD and DE to our final destination of Lancaster County, PA.

Not only did we celebrated a late holiday get-together, but also the weekend birthday of son-in-law Paulo. A bamboo skewer served as an improvised birthday "candle." The dark chocolate and peanut butter cake was specially made by a friend; it was deliciously decadent . . .

Later, it was time for opening birthday cards and gifts . . .

And, a photo with daughter (and wife) Coleen . . .

Happy Birthday, Paulo,
Our Best Wishes for a GREAT year ahead!
