Thanksgiving Celebration

We hope that everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time, no matter where or how it was celebrated. We are thankful for many blessings like these grandchildren .

Grandson has two big celebrations in December — his 6th birthday followed by Christmas. He told us that he’s been on the mostly “nice” list this year.

Grandson is at the age where it’s fun doing things with Grandpa. His sister has fun doing anything — especially following her big brother. Bobby-Grandpa collage1112 Dorothy-grandkids collage
We steered clear of any malls or shopping sales on the traditional U.S. Black Friday sales, many of which are now (sadly) starting on Thanksgiving Day itself. Our Christmas wish list doesn’t involve lots of gift buying; Christmas is NOT about “things” (just ask Cindy Lou Who).

How about you? Please share YOUR thoughts . . .

we have no small children in our lives, our grands are from 22 to 28 years old, so we do know shopping at all for Christmas.
but i did shop the Black Friday Cyber Sale from home. I bought a TV for a fraction of it cost for the bedroom and when i went to print the email to take with me to pick up at the store, my printer had died. back to cyber sale and got one for half price. but they were not gifts. it is a great time to buy electronics

Such a wonderful looking family! Happy and Smiling!! Our little granddaughter Zaeya is 19 months old now, and she's such a little character. I posted her latest Christmas photo, along with her Mom and Dad a couple days ago.

Such sweet little ones for you to share the holidays with. It was the same for my family and myself. We do not go anywhere on Black Friday.........we celebrate in different ways other than material and world ways. Have a wonderful week!

My thoughts are that I sure stay away from Black Fridays and Cyber Mondays. I suppose if I had been looking for something specific and found it online on Cyber Monday that I might have made a purchase, but I wasn't and I didn't.

Lovely photos ! Papa and I are making our gifts for the family photo calenders with our photography from around the area. If we buy it is from local country stores or craft shows we avoid big malls and cities like the plague ! Have a good day !

I'd LIKE to be thankful for grandchildren, but I don't have any. SO I'll be thankful for YOUR cute grandchildren!

Your grandchildren are so precious! Love all the photos you included. I didn't shop black Friday... I worked it. I was too tired by the time I was finished to care about any bargain I may find! We do shop for the Grands and a bit for our kids. It's all very minimal at best. And fun!

No, christmas is not about things for me either. I'll spend it here at home with my dogs and cats. I hate the traffic during the christmas holidays and just refuse to get out on the roads then :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.
