Test number 2 for today

F&P Editorial Board
What do I mean number 2?????? Well if you remember just before the wedding trip I was looking for a blog editor that was designed for the iPad. I tried a few and ended up With the native Blogger editor. The key word then was FREE.

Well this morning I was still looking at editors, and Beatrice mentioned Blogsy. I had looked at it but didn't think it would use my local images on the iPad. AND it cost money!!!!!!

The Zukinator
Well, after consulting with our editorial staff, and the accounting department, I got the ok to break the "free is for me" rule and buy Blogsy.

What has impressed me is that the how-to section is videos besides written. Images are nothing more than drag and drop. A double tap and you have the edit panel. Resize, arrange, and move.

Next cool thing is that if you have done anything in say Picassa ( our pic editing choice) Blogsy will find it. It found the 'Zukinator' in and old F&P post. So I did this really cool post this morning, and posted it, but found an error. Somehow I the correcting and reposting it's bytes got bitten and swallowed up and spit out somewhere else. This post is the second attempt. After watching most of the videos it seems much easier (Manthought----- when all else fails, read instructions,,,or watch videos).

I haven't gotten the hang of inserting video yet but the how-to's say it can be done, so you may even get to see some of the grands in the future.

For now, if you are thinking of torturing your self by blogging on your iPad, spend the $4.99 and try Blogsy. It will make the self inflicted craziness a lot more fun.

More later!,,, Grenville.

Grenville, I have to admit to being incredibly dumb because I have no idea what you are talking about. Of course not having an iPad could have a lot to do with it. Do you need an Editor in order to post or what?

Sounds like fun. It's funny how we have different uses for our different techie toys. :) Aren't they wonderful!

I don't have an IPad but it is nice to hear that there actually exist user friendly programs :-) :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.
