Easter Road Trip

brown bunny closeupWe’re hopping down the bunny trail and heading on our first road trip this year – another holiday visit since the 2011 post-Christmas trip. Our travels will take us through several east coast states with family stops and we’re looking forward to meeting fellow blogger, Doris, in PA. All these stopovers and visits will take about a week of road tripping.

Granddaughter is Ellie1 040212nearly 8-1/2 months old and cuter since we last saw her in Dec. Here's a recent photo sent to us. No updated photo of grandson. But, we will see both grandkids during our 2-day visit with them.

Planned activities include Easter egg coloring; this time, grandson is older and knows that colored water is not for drinking. Grandpa will surely give pointers on how to cover a hard boiled egg with mayo before eating.

Easter Sunday will bring an egg hunt with surprises that do NOT involve sweets. It was fun searching local thrift stores for surprises that include a DVD movie, kite, toy tractors (green ones, of course) and toy cars. Later, we all go to visit family in CT.

Hoppy Easter to All
