Friday Funnies

Lunch on the Road . . .

Travelling home from our recent road trip, we watched this flight of birds overhead.

011312 lunch stop (1)Every time, traffic halted at a light, birds swooped down on this feed truck.

011312 lunch stop (2)We’re not sure if they found anything, but they sure kept trying.

Those are smart birds! They found a supply of food and aren't going to let it get away.

I suppose there was loose chaff and maybe a few grains. I bet they were following the smell of grain.

Haha! They had to work to get it, but at least they knew where their lunch was. I wonder how far they followed along with it. :)

Thanks Allison for the good wishes. We are now in the midst of learning just how much "stuff" we have to clear out.

Lois, Sandra, SVB, Larry, AC, Grace, Mona, Elaine, Daisy, thanks for the comments. Threse birds kept following the truck as long as it was in front of us on the highway.

They must have found something to eat anyway :-) When's the moving taking place?

Have a great day!
Christer, that for some strange reason can't use the open id and word verification at any blog right now.
