Nice pictures, but you have spoiled me with your prolific writing - I want to know more about your plants! Nothing is red at our house - the deer ate the only rose bush left, and it had no blossoms on it anyway.

Merry Christmas from Santee Claus! No white Christmas in Eugene, Oregon this year. Haven't had any rain this month, either, when December is usually the wettest month of the year.

Hi Ron, sorry to disappoint you this post. The top red buds are the potted geraniums that are still blooming. Bottom photos are from nandina bushes that grow prolifically around here. Merry Christmas to you and Ann.

Thanks Steve and Christer and our best wishes to you for a Merry Christmas and good Yule!

Hey Thomas, thanks for the visit and comment. No snow here either unlike the white Christmas we experienced last Dec. Merry Christmas to you and Nancy.

Thanks Carole - geraniums and nandina berries are very colorful especially now. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Larry, thanks for the compliment. It's amazing what a simole digital camera can do these days. Merry Christmas!
