What is This? #11

WOW – how time goes by.

It’s nearly the end of the month without a single What is This?  Until now, that is. Here’s the first – and maybe only – What is This? for May 2011.

Do you know what this is part of ?

Hints: It looks the same horizontally and vertically. This is only part of the entire object, which is very popular. We have a couple of these here at the Frog & PenguINN . But, to tell you more (like where they are located) might make this far too easy.

As always, NO prizes, just braggin’ rights cause it’s just for fun!

The answer in tomorrow's post. Everyone is eligible to post a best guess – no exclusions.

Hi Folks - because blogger has been causing me (and many others) LOTS of problems as far as posting comments, I'm going to hold off posting the what is this answer until tommorrow (Thursday).

Kathleen, thanks for the comment and never feel follish in venturing a guess. Think how foolish my post can be in asking what it is.

Thanks Sandra for your guess - answer posted Thursday.

I had tried to post an answer yesterday, but as you say Blogger was not cooperating. Now, magically, it's working again.

I agree with Kathleen and think it's a plunger. I don't know that I would go so far as to say this is a "popular" item, but certainly it is an essential item in most homes. I say most, because if you live in a cabin or house without running water it is totally useless. I add that little tidbit because here in Fairbanks quite a few folks choose to live that lifestyle. Needless to say, not me!
