Everything is Rose-y

Roses are among several types of flowers rose0508 (28)we have never grown in the F&P gardens. Luckily, we have neighbors who grow many colorful varieties.  We appreciate and admire their efforts and the everlasting beauty of a rose – in red and other colors.

I love roses and appreciate all the different varieties ... but I've never had luck raising them.

Thanks Linda, Mama-Bug & Daisy, it was very nice of this gardener to brighten our walk and color this blog post too. Glad you enjoyed it.

Ginnie, we're with you on NOT raising them. I don't even have much luck with cut ones and the cost always seemed such a waste cause they never lasted.

Good one, AC, thanks...not that I actually remember that one - before my time (of course).

I´m not a big fan of roses but I do like the smaller simpler flowers the wild ones have. Unfortunately they also have huge thorns that I injure myself on every day :-) :-) :-)

I think those songs covered most of the songs I know rose in the title. I can however put another song on that list from the Russian superstar (well at least in eastern Europe :-) called Miljoner rosor (Million roses in english).

Have a great day!
Christer.

I forgot to write the superstars name :-) :-) It´s Alla Pugatjova.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful... My minis are all blooming, but the Peace is just starting to open.

Thanks Possum.

Christer, I like the smaller roses too, but we have never planted any of those either - thorns are not any fun. Thanks for the song title and artist comment too - have a great weekend!
