What is This #7 Answer - Pallets

YES, the answer is a stack of pallets.

Congrats to Anvilcloud who was the first to get it correct,  followed by Lois, Grammie G, Possum and Elaine

And, Daisy, you were right about seeing green as this stack has been weathering the elements for awhile around the corner from our home.

There's a first time for everything. But all in all, I find it quite palatable.

I've had a client since 1975 who sells used pallets. I know what pallets look like from every angle.

Hi Beatrice...those pallets are "coveted" here in Maine you know...People use them for fire wood and will steal them right if your front lawn if you leave one there!! LOL

Here in Alaska pallets are much sought after to use for the New Years Eve bonfires. There are actually quite a few available because of all the goods that are put on pallets and trucked up the Alcan. It's not worth it to haul them back south, and a lot of places will have stacks of pallets that anyone can pick up.

i first thought pallets, but it did not quite look right. it is so odd how something we see all the time looks so different up close. these are actually pretty to look at in this shot

OK, I had a feeling this would be an easy "what is this" so will have to come up with a real puzzler next time.
AC, great pun!
LOIS, should of had a different angle here.
GRAMMIE G, send the folks from Maine here.
ELAINE, you can usually find piles here too, the ones I found are in a lot near our home.
SANDRA, always interesting to see things differently.
