Temp & Time

These neighboring bank signs tell the weather story here earlier today. But, it quickly changed by early evening.

warm temps0228 (2)We’re now in the midst of an evening forecast of heavy downpours, thunderstorms and gusty winds. Yes, we know that fellow bloggers with inches of snow on the ground (or more on the way) are hardly sympathetic. Here’s some good news . . .

Spring is coming – if these robins we saw Sunday are an omen.

Snow here today, but it was very slushy. They didn't even bother to clear the streets. I'm not sure why as the weather for the next few days will be fairly cold, so everything could be rutty.

Ah, yes, Spring is just around the corner all right. It's wonderful.

Hi folks, this temp was short-lived once again as today temps won't get out of the high 40s, but much less gusty. The overnight rains totalled about 1/2 inch, which made grenville happy because he seeded the back yard lawn last week.
AC and The Retired One - hope you get some warming temps to melt the snow.
Lois and Sandra, yes lots of buds are coming out so spring is close.
Daisy, we have had lots of days with gusting winds so much so that our porch flags are up 1 day and down the next.

It´s getting warmer here now :-) Tomorrow we might brake the 32F borderline :-) :-)

Your Robin is very beautiful! Very different from the one we have on this side of the ocean (even if ours is very beautiful too :-) )

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Lovely pictures. Today, Spring finally looked as if it had arrived here in the UK, although I suspect there are a few cold days still to come. Hopefully the snow has gone for this winter.
