Lighting the Way

Lots of good and creative guesses on the last What is This, but  only one correct answer – Possum, you are hard to fool.

YES, they were car lights on I-95 as we rode through CT this past Saturday night. This one looks like an illuminated centipede.

Here’s some Christmas lights on a tree outside our motel.

Thanks Mona and Steve, since I was the passenger and there was a lot of traffic this was a fun experiment.

Hi Judy, not a light show, but the highlights of oncoming traffic on our road trip to RI last weekend. I handheld a small point & shoot digital and also shook it on purpose.

Very pretty colors. The second one would be good to convert to a web page background, then lighten, for a holiday page.

I'm delighted to be on line for a few hours where I can get into your blog again.

Hugs,
Lois

Thanks Lois, I will keep that suggestion in mind, maybe for next year :-)

Hi Frank, the "effects" were so easy as the car lights did most of the work. Thanks for the visit today.

Hi Pat, the headlights of cars do photograph so well and all I had to do was point and shoot and in most case the car moving jiggled the camera enough to produce some interesting effects. Perhaps I should do this more often, except neither Grenville or myself enjoys night driving - might have something to do with age or perhaps wisdom - maybe a bit of each?

Hi Kathleen and thanks for the visit and the kind words too. We do enjoy visitors dropping in and leaving comments is a special treat. I enjoyed your blog as well and will revisit soon. Seems that with our recent trips everything is falling behind - even the fun stuff I enjoy like reading blogs and posting to our own!
