They were taking a bath on Sunday
at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge
Great series! :))
Looks they're really enjoying that water!
wonder why they all decided it was bath time?
I really enjoy Mallards! they are so funny and just so noisy! They have a lot of fun no matter what they're doing. The Goose is taking a mighty fierce bath! lol All that thrashing and shaking! Water going every which way! lol...fun post...debbie
Nice shots. Stew in previous post looks good.
one of my very favorite songs ever.. nice duckies too. Diana
Beautiful birds! They take baths to far from where I can see them in the lake nearby here. There´s so much vegetation in that lake that they can hide everywhere :-)Have a great day now!Christer.
Hi Folks ...isn't that the greatest to see them go through there antics....so cute and funny. : }They look like they was really enjoying themselves!!And I don't know how but I missed looking at your Halloween post and that great looking stew...and no I don't think... I fell???? lol
I love the bath collages! Ducks and geese are so much fun to watch when they are splashing around like that.
Yes, everyone this was quite a show on Sunday when we visited the wildlife refuge. The female mallard was the more amusing to watch. She was quite vocal to her mate who was nearby but not splashing about.Yes Lois and Mona they were having a great time. Not sure,Country Mouse how they decided it was bath time - isnt that every day for them?Debbie, the goose was definitely the noisier one and much bigger too - good luck with the new puppy. Thanks AC. And the stew was delicious and even better the second night.Hi Diana, I wil be posting another piglet series in a few days. Thanks Christer, the ducks are fun and too bad you can't see them closer. Great day to you too. That's OK Grammie G cause sometimes I "fall" behind too - sorry, bad pun. Glad you enjoyed the Halloween post even afterwards. We were supposed to be bike riding, Elaine, but I spent way too much time watching bath time - it was fun!
Hi Beatrice,Love the photos! Look like the geese were having lots of fun. You should enlarge these pix. They're great!Blessings,Judy
Hey Judy, thanks for the visit and the compliments too. These ducks and geese put on regular "shows" at the refuge - always great fun to watch them.
