The photos have been absolutely wonderful. Love them. I don't think I've visually appreciated fruits and veggies as much as in these photos. I can't believe you're in Brunswick already. I hope you had a chance to stop at Pemaquid Point and to drive down any other peninsula and see the coast. Maine has over 3500 miles of coastline and I believe its beauty is not matched anywhere in the US. And Bath is a neat little town with an excellent Maritime Museum and the Bath IRon Works. Rockland has the Farnsworth Art Museum and part of its collection includes a building devoted to the Wyeth's. It also has one of the favorite painting spots of Andrew--Christina's home. OF course Bowdin College could keep you busy for quite a while too. You'll need another month just to get to the southeren end of Maine. YOu could start anther career--doing travel stories for travel magazines and Bureaus of Tourism.......

Oh, wow, what wonderful foods! Now that we are home I am soooo enjoying my kitchen again. We are home at just the right time of the year when all the wonderful summer crops are available. Great post!

Your photos are just terrific of all that good produce! Nice job!

All that produce looks lovely! Unhappily our local Farmers Market is done for the year. It's held on Wednesdays and Saturdays and I seldom miss a Saturday.

Hi Sara, Yes we've hit some of the places you suggested - Bowdoin College including the Art Museum. Today we went to Pemaquid Point and drove along the coast. We stopped in Damariscotta, Wiscassett, and Bath and will be posting on those places too. We also stopped in Waldoboro to eat to Moody's Diner!

Hi Lois, Mona and Elaine - we loved seeing all the produce and it reminded us of our little mini-farm. And we didn't see a single cuke! We were so envious of folks living in Brunswick who get to enjoy this farmers' market from spring to late fall.
