A lovely series.

Terrific series. The squirrels decimated my only sunflower...chewed off its head and chewed the stem in half.

Really nice sunflowers! Bet the birds just love them!

Thank you!

GREAT SHOTS!
And I like the way they ended. Nice touch.

When they are ripe, I will send you some of my cardinals...

Thanks Christer, Ac, Mona, HJ, possum and Elaine everyone for the wonderful compliments - all your comments are much appreciated!

Sorry to hear that the squirrels decimated your sunflowers, Mona. Our are out in the garden area with no nearby trees, so maybe that's why I haven't seen any squirrels around them.

HermitJin, I haven't seen a lot of birds around, but have seen the split seeds so they are enjoying them as well as the bees who have been busy gathering lots of yellow pollen on their legs.

Thanks possum for the offer - a couple of cardinals would be GREAT!

Elaine, I have been photographing our sunflower group for the past month - Grenville dide a great job in planting them. Last night I put the series together and kept looking for the unusual angles - it was great fun and easier not adding words.

Is that a quote from someone I should know? It's a lovely as the sunflowers!

Thanks Ginnie for the stop and comments. Hope you are feeling much better after your recent hospitalization. The quote was taken from the front of cardstock, but there was no author listed - usually a name is given if available and if so it would surely have been included.

Diana, so glad to have cheered you today. It was a lot of fun watching the sunflwoers grow this year. Now, their blooms are dropping and we hop to gather some of the seeds to replant next year - or just put in the bird feeders. Hope you are doing well. Our sympathy to you and yours on your recent loss.
