U-Tube Scam

I like to use Live Writer (better than dead writer) to do my blogs. There is just so many more things you can do with Live Writer. So today i decided to try adding a video to a blog. The next thing i knew i was being told to resister and sign up for a U-Tube account. Now that is not something i really wanted to do. If i am going to post a video on our blog it is for you folks not the rest of the net world. Lets face it, folks have had lots of problems because of videos on U-Tube being, copied, edited and finagled with and then used against them.

BUT what really ticked me off the most was after starting to sign up for U-Tube i was getting bombarded with ads, subscription offers, free deals, coupons, free viagra, breast implants and penis enlargements (how the last two go together i really DO NOT want to know).

SOOOOO just for the fun of it i tried uploading a video directly in Blogger and VOULA!!!! you can…. What A Deal!!!! No sign up, No ‘free offers’, no deals. I almost feel like i have scammed the scammers.

In the next blog i will take you for a walk around the Frog & PenguINN. Well i will try anyway.

I see that I should have read this first before commenting on the next post :-) :-) But I have to admit that I never got those problems when getting my account on YouTube. Very annoying that it would be a problem now!

Hi,

Yes, I feel the same way about some of the picture sites. Friends will send an email and say they have put an album somewhere on the Net, then when you go to look at them, you have to sign up. After you sign up, you get all that junk coming at you.... Yep, that's a great reason to be able to post directly to your own blog and have your own web site.

It's nice to be back! It's Sunday! I have a Verizon air card connection in a US port so I can get into pages with images that I can't see when am connected via satellite.

Very best,
Lois
